El All Star de la Rumba Cubana - La rumba soy yo -BIS
This is a great CD that includes the Folkloric music of Cuba and some good salsa numbers'. The first track is La Rumba soy yo. It's the next best version I've heard of this song since Sonora Ponceña recorded it several years ago.

Guillo Gil y su tumbao - Que Condimiento - DM Productions
I was not familiar with this guy but when I checked out the titles and his tribute to Cuco Valoy ( El Brujo ) I knew this CD was going to be worth getting. Anyone who knows Cuco Valoy knows their salsa. All the tracks are good. My favorite is Corazon de acero and pa' gozar contigo.

Puerto Rico "LIVE"
This year we've had some of Puerto Rico's most celebrated bands record live. Puerto Rico has been on a roll and getting the attention it deserves for recording some of the best salsa in the world.

Gran Combo - Nuevo Milenio - Combo records
This band continues to attract new fans but definitely has a loyal following. They call them " los nenes consentidos " de Puerto Rico . They are loved by el pueblo Puertiruqueño and after all these years they continue to rock. They do a jamming tribute to Tito Puente that is a favorite among dancers, you can really show some moves with this one. I liked the whole CD especially 'Dime que quieres' and 'Me libere'.

Puerto Rican Power - Wild, Wild Salsa - JNK
This band has been together for over 24 years recording salsa with fresh and cool arrangements. They reach out to the next generation of salseros without forgetting that Salsa Brava is here to stay. The smoker on here is 'Cuando Faltas tu' and 'Pena de Amor.'
